Grace & Matt grew up on the same lake and spent summers doing things just like this. In Grace and I’s first email correspondence, she mentioned words like “lake Grandmother” for their wedding vision, she said their favorite days are waking up early, packing PB & J’s for the boat or cramming their favorite people into the car for a lake day. Red cheeks, freckles & Wisconsin. It only made sense that they have an engagement session that reflects their summers together as kids, but in this season of life. It’s the season after they grew up together and decided to grow old together too, the one where they came together to support a military career out of state, the season where they take 10+ hour road trips home just to celebrate the 4th with family at the lake.
