I couldn’t think of a better day to share Mike + Amber’s summer engagement session other than today, their wedding eve! Their excitement and happiness on the day we took these photos was so inspiring and contagious, and I only know that tomorrow will amplify those emotions. These two have been wonderful from day one, from her very first inquiry all the way to now. Without ever meeting before this session, Amber was always there to offer kind words of encouragement and thoughts to make my day. And get this – they even gifted me a tiny cactus plant in honor of my own engagement (you know, the one where I decided to wear a cactus bro thank 😉 ). Amber is a nurse, and she only thinks of others before she thinks of herself, on and off the job. Mike adores her and she adores him just as much!

When Amber talked about her and Mike’s relationship, she mentioned how they met (he transferred high schools, and not before long, she was dating one of the football stars!) and how they just love to do life together. After they graduated college, they decided to backpack through Europe together for 5 weeks and consider the rest to be history! They are passionate about travel, their families, the outdoors, you name it, as long as they’re doing it together.

These two have been nothing but the kindest, sweetest people and I am so happy that we were able to squeeze an engagement session in to get the celebrations started! Can’t even wait to see your smiling faces tomorrow!
