Romantic & Emotional Secret Garden Wedding, Paine Art Center & Gardens, Oshkosh, WI

The Hale wedding was undoubtably, wholeheartedly, Travis and Carolyn’s very favorite day. Tucked in the colorful and lush grounds of the Paine Art Center and Gardens rested a lovely ceremony site, at the head of it all, an arbor with streaming ribbons and the most beautiful botanical and romantic florals. On the edge of the property, Travis and Carolyn were prepping for their most important day. All of the planning came down to this moment, where each project was perfected and all details were set in stone. Preparing for their day was truly a labor of love and being the creative and thoughtful duo that they are, they enjoyed the planning process together and creating a day to be a complete reflection of them, their style and vision for a day to celebrate becoming husband and wife.

Carolyn was completely adorable that morning wearing a cute robe (gifted from Travis!) and pink and white striped PJ bottoms. She was all smiles. She didn’t tear up until she slipped into her Allure Romance Gown from Bliss Bridal. That was the moment it hit her and her mom, who helped with the delicate row of timeless buttons. She had cards of appreciation and thanks for everyone who helped with this day (Liz and I included, + a loot of adorable goodies!), and you can just tell by the reactions on their faces how much this couple means to them and how excited they are for this next step in their lives (I especially love her mom + dad’s reaction to her hand written letters!). Travis and Carolyn exchanged a card, gift, and photos with one another and I think that was the moment that both of them needed before they walked down the aisle after a busy and blissful morning. It set the tone for their ceremony, and they walked into it with those words and photos on their hearts and minds. Travis’s reaction when he first sees Carolyn is one that I don’t think anyone will ever forget! You’ll just have to see that for yourself below. Completely breath taken!

What I’ve noticed most about these two is their thoughtfulness and care for one another. They look at each other with so much admiration and love. They just work for thousands of different reasons, but one that sticks out, they are always thinking about the other person. How can I make them happy? With this idea alone, they are destined for a beautiful marriage, one with lots of champagne, celebrating the little things, and adventures that are plentiful!
