We all swore that one day we would retire on Catalina Island. A hidden gem in California filled with so much character and views that just make your heart happy. Catalina is about an hour ferry ride from LA, a place to escape the hustle of the city to just relax, eat Mexican food, dip your toes in the water and check out cute shops. Janelle, Amy and I all attended FOSTER workshop in California (see post here!) and knew we just were not ready to leave California quite yet. We scored the cutest yellow villa and can’t thank the owner, Marty, enough for being so helpful and pointing us to all the cool things Catalina has to offer. It was a great getaway with great new friends who love exploring just as much as I do – double score!
