These Feet: Explored Beaver Island // Part II

Our next few days in Beaver Island were nothing short of awesome. Other than playing lawn games in the sand, we also took a little tour of the 14 mile long, 8 mile wide island. We found a giant rock, a crazy big Birch tree, and a another tree filled with shoes. We are not entirely sure what the shoes stood for, but it was neat to see none-the-less.

We skipped rocks, used self-timer, explored another lighthouse, saw the best parade  two times – yes, two times. It goes one way, and then comes back, and spent our nights on the beach watching fireworks light the sky and laying by the fire.

Beaver Island, you have our hearts.

Did I mention I tried my luck on a two seater bike? Poor Sam having to deal with my lacking coordination.

xo!
