Pete + Luiza: Colorful and Genuine Engagement Session, Madison, WI

Pete and Luiza… I love their spirits. They are uplifting, genuine, happy, they are people who you’d want to sit by in a room if you didn’t know anybody. I loved hanging out with them this week in Madison where we caught some beautiful spring air! The grass was green, the tulips were bright, the sun cast a warm glow on the Capitol and Memorial Union Terrace was full of life. They are getting married this October and they are so. dang. excited to be husband and wife. They already agreed that no matter what happens, as long as they are married at the end of that day, it will be the best day. That’s all that matters, their perception is so sincere.

I have to quickly share their engagement story because it made my day on Wednesday. Pete shared that once he knew he wanted to propose to Luiza, he wanted to do it that day – right away! Where could he get a ring made in two hours?! The ring put a little halt in that short term plan (turns out you need a few days 😉 ) but within 2 days of knowing he wanted to spend forever with Luiza, he had a ring in his pocket and planned an elaborate date night thinking he’d propose at some point during the date. He couldn’t wait. The date didn’t start yet, he knocked on Luiza’s door and proposed right then and there! They kept it a secret for their full length of their date and enjoyed that time where only they knew. I think I said out loud “Oh my gosh PETE!” 10 times when he was telling me this. What a guy. I loved that story.

They know the right things to say and do to make the other person laugh and fall in love just a little bit more! They have such a warm presence and a connection that is so pure and joyful. Loved every second of their engagement session! <3
