This trip to California threw a lot of wonderful things my way  – and Luke + Danielle’s sun drenched engagement shoot was one of those things. Being in such a beautiful place made me only dream of a lovely couple to photograph by the tall trees, ocean views and golden mountains. The stars aligned and one of my 2014 couples had just made the made the move to California for a work opportunity. Let me just say that after the shoot was over, I did one heck of a happy dance in the car.

Not only are they crazy photogenic, but their kindness, energy and relationship as a couple just made me smile. Luke carried her piggy back over puddles and up tall hills, they laughed, soaked in the sunshine, and enjoyed every second of being together in that gorgeous state.

This lovely duo’s engagement session is split into 3 parts! Let’s just say I went a little photo crazy (who wouldn’t!?) and have a wild amount of images to show you. Part III will be a session done here in Wisconsin!
