John + Jenny

John and Jenny are the kind of people who greet you with hugs when you arrive and great thanks and appreciation when you leave. They are easily liked and adored, and it is no secret that these two found their match. It’s rare that we don’t meet with the couple before their wedding day (usually this happens at their engagement session!) but we met J + J for the very first time this day, and while our e-mail correspondence was always lovely and wonderful, it is always so nice when the kindness behind the screen matches the kindness of the people. We always learn a lot about couples on their day, and one of my very favorite learning moments was during the speeches at their reception. I learned that these two are family people. John’s dad admitted that John was not only a great son, an admirable and well rounded person, but he has also grown to be his dads very best friend. Both the Maid of Honor and Best Man made it known that these two are so honest, so humble, and so willing to put others before themselves. The whole room couldn’t have agreed more, and it is clear as day that people love these two together.

Their wedding day took place at Old St. Joe’s Church on the St. Norbert Campus with their reception at Olde 41. The colors were soft and the details were elegant and completely charming! (I fell in love with their table decor at the reception!) They incorporated all of their favorite things into their day, including their love for animals, Irish acknowledgements, and the joining of two families. It all had meaning and it was all so appreciated by their families – a true outline of their personalities and thoughtfulness. Thank you so much for having us there to help you celebrate and to capture the precious moments from your wedding day! It was beautiful.
