Custer, WI

These two are such a light!! Meredith and I bonded right from the get go. She’s so warm and welcoming, along with being a “maker” herself! She’s so talented at painting, jewelry making, and has that eye and appreciation for the creative world. I have been loving following her wedding crafts (you guys, she’s making her own paper flowers!!) and am so excited to see everything come together. We got to chatting about Jay, and my gosh, this love is the real deal. They actually talked for about a year before officially meeting. For their first date, Jay accompanied Meredith as her assistant while she photographed a wedding (talk about a keeper right off the bat ???? ) and she admits they were soul mates right from the start. They were together just under a year when he popped the question, and she said that she hasn’t stopped glowing since. And there’s no denying that, just by looking at the time we spent taking photos! Their kind of happy is something so special.

We took photos right in their backyard in Custer, WI! It was gorgeous and we caught one amazing sunset to add to all the beauty that was already there. These two are true examples of living simply and loving deeply, and I feel so lucky to have met them and to be able to capture those smiles. Your wedding day can’t some soon enough!!
