Photographing friends is the best. It is always extra special to see their kind of happy in front of my lens, to capture this wild and fun season of life for them! Lindsey was my college roommate (we lived in a house of 7 girls and we STILL all love each other!) and the memories we have from our college days are just priceless. It’s sessions like this that make us realize that we really are growing up, and realize just how lucky we all are for this new chapter and to find someone worth the wait, a true match, someone to plan your future with. That person is Dave for Lindsey, and Lindsey for Dave. They laughed the entire session through (and knew exactly what to say to make the other person crack up, it was hilarious) and I love how they honestly just “get” the other person, that’s so rare to find. They are very much “go with the flow” kind of people, and that quality has lead their relationship to be one filled with adventures and travel, and has them enjoying every day together whether it’s hanging at home or sitting on a beach somewhere. A cozy hometown session at a park right by our houses, and a visit to see their new home and snap a few photos with their beautiful Husky’s! It was perfect.
