Drew, Therese and their immediates welcomed everyone to their slice of paradise in the northwoods! A welcome party at Coons Franklin Lodge was the best kick off to their wedding weekend <3 A band, BBQ, campfires, s’mores, fireworks, all of the things that summer is made of was right here. We saw friends run across the grass to greet and hug, couples dancing at sunset, groups enjoying wine in adirondak chairs on the dock, families picnicking in front of the lodge. The best part was a surprise to Drew and Therese. They knew that there would be a few speeches at some point, but they didn’t know that there was full on skit night dedicated to them on the horizon! In true camp style, everyone gathered around fire-pits while aunts and uncles sang them songs, the greatest family friend provided words of wisdom and a shot of tequila, best friends told stories of Drew & Therese, about how they always dance together and make the most of what’s in front of them. It was PURE, pure joy.
