Kate is my dear friend from high school. I can’t really tell you how we became friends, we kind of just always got along. We played basketball together in middle school (and I’m pretty sure we both warmed that bench up real good 😉 ) and joined the same groups in high school. We shared a love for pizza toe heels, high school football games and dances, trying to pull off new fashion trends and just hanging out (us two and Hayley, of course. Hi Hayley!) Kate has always been a light, someone who is always laughing, making travel plans, wearing the cutest clothes, and really is down for whatever life throws. She’s awesome. Clint also went to our high school, quiet and kind and focused on football, and after graduation, even played with the Badgers! When we moved to Madison, luckily for me, they lived here too! On our first Madison date, Kate mentioned that her and Clint would be moving to Tulsa soon for Clint’s job, but I was so thankful that we were able to live in the same town again, even for just a little while. They were able to pay us a quick visit last weekend for a short and sweet engagement session before their flight back to Tulsa!

After dating since high school and making the move to Madison together, they got engaged in 2012 and are now planning their dream wedding… are you ready… in FRANCE! I’ll let that soak in for a minute.

Yes. France. They love Europe, they love the food there, they love strolling the streets, relaxing and soaking in all the charm. A small wedding in small town France is perfect for them and I get butterflies in my stomach just thinking about watching these two tie the knot on the grounds of the most beautiful château. It would be the greatest understatement if I said I was excited for them, their new adventures as a married couple, and for this trip!

The next time these two are on the the blog, it will be June and we will have just gotten home from their European destination wedding. Get. Excited.
