Billy, Courtney & Brayden

The love that I have for this family is so large!! A little back story for you to help explain one tiny part of why they are so wonderful. When we were living in Madison, I reached out to Courtney to help me get into a fitness routine. I have admired and followed her fitness journey on social media and knew that being from the same hometown was something we’d have in common. What I didn’t know was that I would gain a great friend who was so supportive and encouraging. She provided confidence and kind words when I didn’t have the best things to say about myself, and she might not even know this, but that meant the world to me! I look up to her for the way she pushes herself, the way she treats people, the way she puts everyone before herself, especially Brayden and Billy.

We’d listen to 90’s music and talk longer than we’d workout most of the time. I remember talking about how her and Billy first started dating. Courtney actually turned Billy down a few times before actually going on a date! Brayden was a huge focus for her and she wasn’t sold on the dating scene at that time. Way to go Billy for not giving up! Persistence pays off and the outcome of his determination has lead to this. A move to the Madison area where Billy works to train UW athletes, raising Brayden together, finding out their offer was accepted for their new home, planning the wedding of their dreams, chasing dreams without hesitation, reaching goals side by side. It’s just beautiful the way life works, and it’s days like this that make you realize there really is a reason for everything!

Courtney lights up when she talks about Billy and Brayden, and they surely light up when they are around her. I can’t help but feel so proud and excited for these three! Get ready for your heart to swell <3
