Sweet + Elegant Garden wedding, Green Bay Botanical Gardens + Paper Valley Hotel
When your friends get married, and more friends are part of the bridal party, it is undoubtedly going to be a fun and exciting time. On top of all the fun, Anthony + Katie had the sweetest day, an emotional one, too. It all started when we arrived at the Green Bay Botanical Garden, a space that will always be inspiring and simply, simply gorgeous. One of my favorite parts of the day happened right in the beginning. Anthony handed us a letter and gift, and said to give it to Katie. Thinking that she knew it was coming, we handed her Anthony’s note and she was so taken aback that he thought to write her a letter, her heart was touched and she felt so special before even unsealing the envelope. Then, Katie handed us a letter and said it was for Anthony. We headed upstairs, found Anthony and handed him his letter. With teary eyes, he said, “Is this for me?! She wrote me a letter?” Neither of them knew that they were writing letters, and both of them were so surprised and touched that they would go out of their way to do something so nice and thoughtful. Que the heart string tugs…
The rest of the day followed the morning excitement and genuine joy. Weddings can be filled with emotions and these two spent every moment of their wedding day basking in the all the feels that come with a day like this one. You could just tell that it felt so right in their hearts, and we felt so lucky to capture it all and celebrate with you! Marriage looks so good on you two!
