The Klein’s, oh how I love the Kleins! It is so fun to finally be able to say “The Kleins” out loud, isn’t it? I am so lucky to have known both of these families for years and years. I remember when they first started dating casually and when they knew it was going to be forever. These two both come from the best families, families of faith and good times, so the joining of the two couldn’t be more perfect. With Katie’s love for photography and capturing moments, I knew that this wedding day would be one that would wow (and you bet it did!) Her talents created some amazing moments and memories, especially at the reception. Throughout her and Alex’s relationship, she has taken little video clips from fun travels, football games and weekends at the lake. A bit before the big day, they both spoke separately into the camera, telling the lens about their favorite things about the other person and why they are so excited to spend the rest of their lives making the other smile. She combined all those moments along with photos to tell the beginning of their love story, and left it to be continued. With so many memories already made, the best is still to come for The Kleins. With Katie’s love for photos and moments, I am even more excited to show off their wedding day story, the link between their beginning and their forever.
I always love emotional wedding days! I say it time and time again, but as long as there is love and as long as there is emotion, I know I won’t ever grow tired of weddings. Needless to say, emotions ran high this day! A dad with a bond so strong to his little girl, Alex seeing his wife turn the corner of the aisle, a mother-in-law gaining a new daughter and answered prayers for a long awaited love. A day that was dreamt about and mapped out, yet all so surreal! The care and love for these two is unimaginable. As Katie was showing me details to photograph in the morning, she pulled out note after note after note, one from Grandma Jeanie, two from her dad, flowers and cards from cousins, one from her maid-of-honor, and even one from her pup Willow! The excitement for this day goes beyond just Alex and Katie, it spread like wildfire. Aside from the mushy stuff (I could go on for pages…) Alex and Katie’s wedding day was a stunner. They wanted something true to their taste and one where everyone could be there to help them celebrate. They were married at Old St. Joe’s, the most beautiful church. It was filled with exposed brick and had chairs that faced the aisle way. Even with a packed church, it was intimate, romantic, and everyone felt like part of the celebration. Alex stood right next to his parents as he waited for his bride. His parents held hands and looked lovingly at their son who looked lovingly at his wife. It was all so beautiful! (Am I getting mushy again?) Their day was timeless and on trend, emotional and the happiest day. I’ll leave it at that, and FINALLY, give you a look into one jaw dropping celebration!
