Jeremy + Annie: Relaxed, Outdoor + Simply Beautiful Wedding Day, Hortonville, WI

With some unplanned rain in the forecast, they had to make the decision to either run with plan A, to go forth with their visions of an outdoor ceremony on the grounds of The Creeks at Ivy Acres, or to opt for plan B and seek shelter for their ceremony. Right as their ceremony was about to begin, in the middle of the decision making and opinions on how to move forward, I asked Annie what she really wanted, and I’d do my best to make it happen. She looked at me and said “I just want to marry Jeremy”. There it was, plan A was ready, and so were they. Guests adorably cuddled under umbrellas as they walked towards the ceremony site, adorned with light wood chairs and a gorgeous birch arch, the perfect place to say their personalized vows and to make their promises to one another. The rain was short lived, and right as their vows were being said, the sun peeked through! That little moment was something really special and a reminder that no matter what, wind, rain, this day, this ceremony, was destined to happen.

Annie could not have looked more gorgeous on their wedding day. Her gown (and the entire day in general!) makes the saying “less is more” shine so bright. It was simple, the important parts were highlighted, and they trusted that everything else would fall into place. I love how laid back they are, how excited they are to be married, how they look at one another, and how their families and friends all have a soft spot for this couple. Everyone was the happiest to share in their celebration and to cheer them on, and that is a true testament to how perfect they are for one another!
