Sam + Kayla: Romantic + Classic Wedding day, De Pere, WI!

There is always something so romantic about rain on wedding days. Sam + Kayla had that beautiful and dim light during portraits, but barely had to use an umbrella for that window of time (the timing was perfect!). While the weather wasn’t so sure what it wanted to do that day, these two had their eyes on the aisle. Their story with planning a wedding is a little more unique, and for that, I give them the most praise for their poise. You see, these two had their wedding date set for last year, and after a fallout with their venue, they had to face the decision of whether or not to continue with their date and settle on what they really wanted, or to wait. They decided to wait, to not settle, and that wait could not have been more worth it to throw the wedding of their dreams, such a fun celebration with all of their families and friends and everyone knew after leaving their big day that it was entirely worth it.

My favorite part of their wedding day might actually surprise you! It was the reception! I always love the dancing, and while every other aspect of their wedding day was gorgeous, their reception was a place where they could just let loose! It felt like all of their wedding worries were completely left right there on the dance floor. They could only be found dancing with their cute nephew, laughing with their friends, wearing photo booth props and literally having the time of their lives. They danced slow when the time came and busted a move at all times otherwise. We had a blast with them and their families and friends, everyone was so welcoming and fun to take photos of!
