Let me just say that I was crazy excited for this day. Upon chatting with Sari these past few months, she informed me of all the details and special things that would take place during this event – a custom made dress from Pakistan, purple and gold accents, families meeting for the first time and people traveling across the globe to spend time with her and TJ. There were numerous celebrations that took place before the final party which was this reception. For starters, these two eloped in Italy where they were wed with the most gorgeous backdrop setting the scene. Seriously, their photos looked like they were straight from a magazine.
Being a lover of travel and culture, I was immediately smitten with their story and free spirits before we even met, and meeting them in person only made me love them even more. Their reception was filled with color, love, and a crazy amount of fun. I could not keep my eyes off of her dress that was custom made in Pakistan, either. Pictures just don’t do that beading and perfection justice! They planned a surprise dance number with their bridal party that was absolutely amazing to watch, and guests really got into their “kissing menu”, where they would get up and share funny stories or kiss their date in a way that TJ and Sari would have to mimic, the creativity was out of the world! The reception continued with a delicious meal, the most amazing cupcakes (one was called Peanut Butter Puppy Chow… um, score!) and a packed dance floor – a great way to end their multiple wedding celebrations!
I can’t wait for you to see this wonderful day!
