TJ & Raegen: Backyard Summer Ceremony at the Lake with family, Fremont, WI

It was TJ’s birthday, TJ’s parents 35th wedding anniversary, and now, TJ and Raegen’s wedding day! What a day to celebrate at the lake!! This was the most casual, laid back, go-with-the-flow type of day and I love that they just let it all naturally unfold. Everyone was in their dressy clothes for no more than two hours. They changed into swim suits and shorts, drank Bare Bones beer brewed by Raegen’s dad, hopped in the pool, popped champagne, played lawn games and ran around barefoot all day. Summer weekends are meant for days like this. While it was casual, it was also full of little surprises that made the special people in their lives feel special. After TJ read his vows to Raegen, he also shared a promise with Myah and gave her a ring as well. Myah drew the cutest picture of the Lamers family as a gift to Denny (and other super sweet gifts were exchanged!) TJ’s grandma gifted him heirloom photos and a pocket watch from his grandpa. They had two cakes made, one for Jan and Denny’s anniversary and one wedding cake. They they cut their cakes together <3 Delicious food was delivered from friends and a local favorite Hahn-a-Lula and everyone genuinely had the best day, kids and adults alike. They’ll be having a celebration in a few months with more of their family and friends, but this day was absolutely perfect for their ceremony! Love these families!
