Island living is the best kind of living. Sure, we were only in Michigan, but being in Beaver Island makes you feel like you are in paradise. From the bonfires on the beach, to the pretty views, to the sand in your toes, it’s all just so refreshing and rejuvenating. Our trip here has become an annual thing over the last four years and this place has already planted a special place in our hearts. It is a time to disconnect, close the computer, watch the 4th of July parade, play endless amounts of cribbage, sleep in and watch fireworks sparkle over Lake Michigan while laying on the beach. It is always a perfect vacation and one of my favorite weeks of the year.
