Ricky didn’t cry as Ashely was walking down the aisle, but when she stood in front of him, arm and arm with her parents, ready for the moment when her dad would give them both a hug and take a seat, that is when it became the most real. Ricky buried his face in his hands and wiped away the tears, Ashley looked just stunning! Mornings of wedding days are always filled with excitement when you’re with your friends and enjoying prep and breakfast, but I always notice that there is one moment that makes a wedding day feel like the day, the one you’ve been waiting for. It was that one for the Ottos!
They stood tucked in the beautiful trees of the Woodfire Lodge while guests sat on the patio and watched their short and sweet ceremony unfold. They looked at one another and then looked away to hold back tears, symbolized their unity by filling a jar with colored sand, dipped for their first kiss and took photos right under the same beautiful archway filled with florals and birch. They greeted guests afterwards and were ready to enjoy a night filled with AMAZING Tamara’s Cake Guru cupcakes, dancing to the tunes of Fortune Talent and surely, the sweetest sparkler tunnel! They watched their slideshow together hand in hand, laughing and crying at moments they loved and miss, kissed plenty of times during dinner as guests showed them how it’s done, and get this – Ashley and her dad even had a coordinated fun dance (complete with N’Sync’s bye bye bye!) In one full day, they accomplished anything and everything a couple could ever hope for on their wedding day. It was filled with heart and fun and memories to last!
