PAT + KATE

Pat + Kate: Joyful, Genuine + Classy Wedding Day, Joliet, IL

It was my very first time at Joliet, IL and it was certainly a weekend to remember! What I loved about Pat and Kate’s wedding day was that they kept their humor at the forefront, they laughed all day and their priority was to make as many wonderful memories with their friends and families as possible. They did just that, and we were lucky enough to be part of this grand and glam celebration!

Kate and her ladies got ready at her parents home which made for a relaxed and special morning. Seeing the day go from “getting ready” to “this is happening, we’re ready!” is always a fun transition to see. Soon enough, Kate was in her completely timeless Sarah Seven gown, sharing tearful moments with her mom, dad, grandma and bridesmaids, and onto the trolley she went to meet Pat at the head of the most beautiful church. After their traditional and sweet ceremony, they surprised their bridal party with a quick pit stop to Home Cut Donuts (SO GOOD!) before photos and their reception.

Their reception site, WOW! Rialto Square Theatre was out of this world, what a unique experience for everyone in attendance! You felt like royalty the minute after entrance, all the way through a delicious meal and the dancing that followed (shout out to the amazingly talented Steve Edwards Orchestra for keeping our feet tapping all night!!). All in all, it was such a feel good day with so many memorable takeaways <3 See a little glimpse of their wedding story below!
