Engagement Session at their Family Cottage

It’s officially JUNE! This session is the best one to post today because it has summer written all over it. Pat & Carly are getting married next month and we just HAD to squeeze in an engagement shoot to document this great season of life! They recently bought a home and are so excited about this next step in their relationship after years and years of making memories together (and I’m certain their favorite memories are yet to come!). Their shoot was extra special because it took place at Carly’s family cabin, a place where she and Pat spend countless weekends together. I knew this would be a perfect shoot just from the idea of heading north for the day!! The buds blossomed into the prettiest purple bushes, it felt warm and green for the first time of the year, the sun set over the lake, they swung in the hammock, danced on the dock, were so comfortable and happy to just be spending this time together! If I could draw up a perfect session, it would look just like this <3
