Luke + Danielle – The Pritzlaff + Rail Hall, Milwaukee

A groom from a wedding last year came up to me and said, “this wedding is a dream for you to photograph, isn’t it?” I smiled so wide and could only agree that Luke and Danielle’s day was beyond. It was one of those days where you just feel like you could hang out forever and be more inspired with each second that passed. They looked flawless, the decor was out of this world, their bridal party was amazing and their venues were filled with exposed brick and charm. Even though all of these elements were more than perfect, the most inspiring thing throughout their day was when Danielle was walking down that aisle and Luke almost lost it. He closed his eyes and had to look away to fight back tears and soak in that moment. WhatThroughout their ceremony they would lean in and share little secrets, and after their vows they just wanted to hug and love. The judge had to remind them that there will be no kissing until he says so! It was cute and hilarious and was a reminder of how close and connected these two are.

They have been together since middle school (and even got married in their backyard with her sister and his brother as their witnesses – how crazy and amazing is that!? Of course we had to do a re-inactment photo!) They grew up together, were best friends, went to high school dances together and eventually left their small town and made a big move to California together. They are each others person and seeing the joy on their faces the entire day only proved that this match was made to last forever. They are adventurers, lovers and beautiful people (inside and out!)

How I wish I could relive this day again and again, but for now, I will just scroll endlessly through their gorgeous photos that tell one heck of a love story.
