Jon + Jessica: A mid-roadtrip spring maternity session

It’s not too often that I take on maternity and family sessions as weddings and engagements keep me nice and busy, but, I love documenting milestones and knew it would be super fun to see Jon and Jess again after photographing their wedding a few years ago! <3 (You can relive their amazing day here, STILL one of my favorite weddings and venues! …Admittedly, I just spent a solid half hour slowly scrolling through their wedding post.) It is the sweetest experience to watch couples grow and to see them start families, move to new homes, to new states, to follow their adventures, travels, and to see how they create their lives together.

We were able to squeeze in a session while they were mid-roadtrip! Living in North Carolina, they slowly made their way through the midwest to visit family, sight see, attend a wedding, enjoy a baby shower, and they were on their way to Virginia to continue the fun right after we finished up their shoot.

How cute are they? Seriously. It was SO good to see you two and to see you so happy! I’ll be stalking social media waiting for the little babe’s arrival announcement!!
