Jake and Gigi have that laid back, easy love. Everything just seems so natural with them, like they have known each other for 100 years. Their wedding day could not have been a better reflection of the two of them. Gigi and her sisters got ready at a nearby Hilton Garden Inn where they helped one another with their dresses, make-up, and exchanged loving looks in the realization that today Gigi would be wed. Close friends and family mingled in a little woodsy pocket of Sunset Park, where they adorned all of the special details this outdoor wedding offered. Some of Gigi’s family and friends even made the trip from Brazil to witness the couples love and big day, making it even more special and personal.

Gigi walked down that aisle with her dad by her side and tear filled eyes. Jake’s eyes were glued to his lovely bride to be, soaking in every second. The ceremony was simple and sweet with kind words from the priest, and also kind words from both of their mother’s. Jake pealed back Gigi’s veil after they exchanged beautiful vows and said “I do”. Hearts were filled with love and stomachs were filled with butterflies as they walked down the aisle as Mr. + Mr.s Verstegen! Their receiving line was just another indicator of how much these two are loved. Tears, kisses, hugs and well wishes were everywhere you looked.
