Jake + Amanda: Heartwarming + Inspring Wedding Day at Given’s Farm, Hortonville, WI

Jake, Amanda and Melanie will always carry a special spot in my heart with their story alone. This couple, I swear, is the most selfless and easy going pair with the kindest and most thoughtful hearts on the planet. An example from just yesterday – Amanda is creating a gallery wall for their new home filled with wedding photos, and she asked me what my favorite photo from the day was, because they wanted to include that in their display. Get real, they are too cute. Jake and Melanie scored big when they tied the knot with Amanda, and Amanda felt like the luckiest girl in the world to spend the rest of her life with Jake and Melanie. I loved that although their day at Given’s Farm was absolutely, positively stunning, the focus was always on the three of them, it was a day to give Melanie bottomless kisses, a day to dance their tails off, to bring all of their families and friends together to one spot for toasts and drinks and a BBQ and strawberry shortcake cupcakes. That’s what a wedding day is for and that’s exactly what they did!

To bring their thoughtfulness full circle, Jake and Amanda found a way to include everyone in their big day. Amanda was walked to the aisle by her dad and stepdad, and continued towards Jake with her mom by her side. Jake’s dad was his best man, and his dad thought that was the coolest, nicest thing ever (and is easily one of their number one fans. I love how he and Jake both threw their fists in the air during the first kiss! The best.) Their families and best friend made up the bridal party, while their favorite friends were honorary bridesmaids and groomsmen, the perfect set of people to laugh with the Buman’s, help them plan and to get the party started. I love how they made their own rules in terms of their bridal party and day in general, it all just made so much sense!

Quite literally, I could talk about how much love I have for them all day. But really, I know you are here for the pictures, and I am totally okay with that 😉 Their wedding pictures give a great view into their day, their story, their happy, and the beginning of their forever!
