Wedding season has officially begun and I couldn’t think of a better way to start it out than with my wonderful friends at Lambeau Field. Being the huge Packer fans they are, they strategically chose the date 4/12 to stay their “I do’s” surround by green and gold and their family and friends who couldn’t be happier to witness their vows. Nobody really seemed to acknowledge that it was a rainy day (I think we were all just happy it wasn’t snowing!) All of the focus was on this perfect duo becoming one, and hey, we were in Lambeau! It really doesn’t get much cooler than that!
Kayleigh walked down the aisle in her mint green Chuck Taylor’s following an arrangement of lovely petals carefully and adorably placed by two of the worlds cutest flower girls. Goosebumps formed when her dad gave her away, and so began the start of Greg and Kayleigh’s new lives together. To make the day even more wonderful, we were able to use the field as our backdrop and then take a little personal tour through the tunnel and onto the field. Not many people can say that they stepped foot on Lambeau soil, especially on their wedding day! Let me just say, I was extra excited to be their photographer. The reception held some hilarious speeches, an adorable video, delicious cupcakes awesomely displayed on wooden stands make by Greg himself, and some ever so smooth dance moves. The entire day was truly and perfectly them, all the way from the mint chucks, to Lambeau, to the personal touches and the focus of the day being one big celebration.
I go through their photos and have to pinch myself every time to know that this day actually happened. You two deserve nothing but the best in life and love!
I could get used to this whole being a guest and photographer thing. Have I mentioned that weddings are my favorite?
Cheers to the people who made the day even more special! –
