“I loved you before I met you, in the depths of my soul I was searching of you. Everything in my life has brought me to this time, this place, you. You have opened my eyes to something I didn’t think existed. The waiting is over. My heart is full. I am the luckiest person in the world to have you by my side, you are the love of my life, my rock, my friend, my personal comedian, and my better half. I vow from this day forward to love you unconditionally, support you and challenge you all the days of my life. May we grow old together in love with enough laughter to last us to eternity.”
“Because of you I smile, I laugh, I revel in life, and I dream of our tomorrows. Because of you I remember the best person I’ve been and dream up ways to become better yet. Because of you life contains a radiance unimaginable to me before we met. To you, I vow my unending loyalty, my limitless love and my infinite dedication. I will honor and protect our little family regardless of what the future intends for us. You are my constant companion, my coconspirator, and often the only one who finds me funny. Today and always, beyond tomorrow, I need you beside me, always as my best friend, lover, and forever soul mate.”
These were the words written behind Ed and Sara as they promised forever and I really just can’t stop reading their vows. To have a love so honest and pure and real and deep is so admirable and all things amazing. They waited to find each other, until they knew it was right and perfect. Their wedding day is one of my favorites in history, not only because we didn’t leave the dance floor and because Mac and Cheese was part of their dinner or because I’m pretty sure their cake had 5 different flavors in it, but because you could feel the love and the energy in the room. Family weddings will always be my favorite and I feel so lucky to have been been with these two through the entire days festivities. I also can’t end this post without giving a big shout out to Janelle with Evenement Planning, she worked her booty off and made Ed and Sara’s beautiful vision come to life!
