Tom and Natalie road tripped from their Colorado home to wed in Wisconsin, the place where both of their families and friends came together to celebrate this wonderful couple! They made an announcement at the reception pointing out how far people traveled and where they came from and my, people must really love these two! Natalie got ready with her ladies in the library of the school across the parking lot from the church. School was still in session and the kids thought it was the coolest thing to have a real bride in their library. Natalie definitely had celebrity status that day and it was so sweet. Watching them hang out separately before she walked down the aisle was pretty amazing. We delivered Natalie’s gift to Tom (the most perfect compass and a letter about their adventures) and you could just see his heart strings tug as he opened his present. Tom’s letter to Natalie resulted in the same, tears began to roll and reality set in. This was happening and both of them were overjoyed and in disbelief that they actually get to spend the rest of their lives with the one they love most.
Although the day was rainy, Tom and Natalie didn’t say one bad word about it. They gathered umbrellas, touched up the chalk on their mason jars and smiled all the way through. Not one complaint, not one sigh. They trucked through photos, made the very best of it (resulting in beautiful photos!) and had the time of their lives that day. Their decor reflected their love of adventure and nature flawlessly, everything from the centerpieces made by her mom, to their card box and cake topper made by her grandpa. Everyone played a huge roll in pulling this beautiful day together and Tom and Natalie were beaming at the result! The dance floor was flooded with their bridal party, grandparents, friends, cousins, aunts and uncles the entire night – it was hard to put the camera away with all of those dance moves!
