I met David and Amy years ago when they first were engaged. They were one of my very first couples to photograph and for that, they hold a super special place in my heart. They trusted my eye from the very beginning and I am so excited to finally be able to show off their wedding photos. These two are two of the sweetest souls on the planet and are just crazy for one another. They had 3 maids of honors and 3 best men, and all 6 of them confessed that these two were put on earth to be together. And I, knowing them now for a few years, could only agree that they are a match made by the Heavens.

The girls got ready on the Lawrence University grounds where they touched up their makeup, slipped on their heels and chatted about the glorious day to come. Just down the road, guests began arriving at City Park, a space filled with greenery, victorian homes and simple white chairs, the space where their forever would begin. Dave’s face was priceless when he saw Amy in white. It was more than obvious that their favorite part of the day was when they said those vows and made that promise. After the rings were exchanged, they shared a big kiss and threw their hands in their air as the new Mr. and Mrs. Kress.

Really, the day was just flawless. We could not get over how much our camera loved Amy. Her hair, make-up, that dress, everything. Amy would glance over at her girls every so often and was just floored by how great they all looked! She said multiple times she had to have the best looking wedding party. Dave and his groomsmen wore navy, one of my new favorite wedding trends, and they all looked crazy handsome and pulled it off like champs. The reception at The Warch Campus Center was filled with succulents, pretty neutral tones, the cutest, most delicious cupcakes and a crowd of people cheering on their love and future together as husband and wife. To say the least, it was a great day.
