I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Ben and Kara are two souls after my own heart. Maybe it’s weird that I think the world of them and their relationship considering the first time we hung out was on their wedding day, but I think I have enough evidence to conclude that these two are simply wonderful . They are the kind of people who invite you to their rehearsal dinner, make sure your drive to LaCrosse went well and your hotel room is in tip top shape. They are the kind of people who had The Beatles and the Friends theme song play at their ceremony and insist you stay after your off duty to join in the wedding celebration. The kind of people who have a Wisconsin wedding centered around beer, in the cutest and most tasteful way. All the way from the hops in the bouquets, to the shuttles taking every single guest to the Pearl Street Brewery following the ceremony, to a pit-stop at their first date spot Bodega Brew Pub, to adorable Mr. + Mrs. beer glasses, to Ben actually brewing his own beer and making personalized labels as wedding favors (um, awesome!)
They are the kind of people who have passion for each other, their families and their friends. They would cry tears of happiness at even the thought of being together forever. Every single girl wants the reaction that Ben had when he saw Kara for the first time – that weak at the knees, teary eyed, I can’t keep my eyes off of you look. They’d sneak kisses, swing their arms around one another, dance, laugh, and steal the most adorable glances.
They are the kind of people who people have passion for. Ben and Kara met in LaCrosse during college, so neither side of the family is from the area. Friends and family are from everywhere and they currently live in Colorado. It takes one special couple to fill an entire reception hall of people from all over the United States!
Okay, enough of my chattering. Clearly I could chat about these two all day long!
Without further ado, Meet – The Knutson’s:
Kara said in her vows, “Whatever souls are made of, mine and his are the same”, and I think these photos prove that to be true.
