On the morning of their wedding day, on the edge of The Great Smoky Mountains, Jordyn and Hunter sipped their coffee on top of the world. See that small white dot on the first picture? That’s the farm house. Dream day. Jo’s sister (and my dearest friend Meg) traveled from Wisconsin to Tennessee with buckets of flowers, she spent her morning creating with a view while her kids ran circles around her. Dream day. Family friends were in the kitchen, where they started their meal prep for the most delicious, home cooked dinner. Feeding people they care about in a place that’s new, with a menu they made. Dream day.
The light flooded into the sun room, Jordyn and her friends helped each other with hair and details, the afternoon came and the back porch filled with 22 of their favorite people. It was just those 22 and the mountains for the rest of the day. The slow and casual nature and the natural beauty of it all took our breath away. It was a dream day for us, too <3 Endlessly thankful to Jo, Hunter, Meg + family, and their people.
