Tom and Clare (and their people) left us speechless with their kindness, and breathless with both the beauty they created and naturally beautiful environments they invited us into. It was a September Door County day to love. It started at Loma Cottages, where Tom and his party played basketball in suits and where the big hydrangeas made the best backdrop for a spinning flower girl. A cottage with a cedar shake shell and friendship and nervous excitement inside. Off to church, full of their favorite humans, and then to a family cottage that has always been a memory maker and the place that makes Door County feel like home. It was really special to be at a property so special to them, it felt like a dream. Then, to the iconic Alpine Resort! A place we all want to hold on to forever. Completely decked out by Rachel with Pink Door Events and Buds ‘n Bloom, our jaws were on the grass. Sound Fire DJ played the tunes while the waves lapped and the sun glowed, while the beer boat was picked through and the old fashioned’s hit the spot, while Legendairy Cookies ‘N Cream set up the sweetest ice cream cart. Everyone danced with freedom. When we left, the two of them were on their way to the dock to take a beat and soak it up. It was all sheer and pure joy to witness <3
