Jeremy & Emily were married at The Waters in Oshkosh, where the sky looked like a painting and because of that, the water took on all shades of blue hues, which matched Emily’s hand painted and hand made vases, pedestals, signs, name cards, etc. We loved turning every corner to photograph and see what she saw for this special day. I think the cake toppers were my favorite. The heavy velvet curtains and chandeliers, endless porches and decking and patio spaces, grand staircase and moldings and overall timelessness of The Waters made us feel like we were stepping back into a different time where things were swanky and rich and quality. It’s hard to find places that feel different from everywhere else, so this was an extra wonderful experience.
We all remember the greatest movie wedding of all time- The Parent Trap, where they were married on the Queen Elizabeth II. The song “This Will Be” (an ever laaaasting love) played over and over in my head and I hope it does while you scroll through these pictures, they share that perfect nautical nostalgia that we can’t get enough of. It was a day of promises and people ready to enjoy a day on the water, we loved every second <3
