Nate + Shayna: The Sweetest Outdoor Hometown Wedding, Freedom, WI

Right after the ceremony we caught word that a storm was expected to be over us in 10 minutes, which could have halted our leave time for photos a little bit. Nate and Shayna looked at each other, shrugged, and said that their ceremony was the most important part anyways. Not one worry. They cared about officially tying their family of three together, they cared about celebrating with their families and friends as much as possible on their wedding day, they cared about their nieces and nephews having a blast on the dance floor, they cared about one another and Kaelyn more than anything. All of their positivity was rewarded with a break in the forecast and the greatest day imaginable <3

When Shayna went to try on dresses for the first time, she had no idea that she’d fall in love with the dress she wore! It was absolutely stunning on her, and it was so fun to see Kaelyn watch her mom become a bride that day. Kaelyn played “hair dresser” at the salon, helped Shayna put in her earrings, gave Nate a huge hug at the head of the aisle, giggled with the bridesmaids, danced the night away, and was even a great helper to me while we took photos of Nate and Shayna 😉 This family is simply the happiest when they are with one another, whether it be in fancy clothes celebrating a wedding, or in sweatshirts catching fish on the lake. Their priorities are truly something to be admired!
