Luke + Josie: Heartfelt + Humble Wedding Day, Old St. Joe’s, DePere, WI

The Aumann wedding was a “feel good” day! Everything about it felt very right, very easy, relaxed, sweet, full of heart, love, all smiles from the couple, their families and friends. It was a great day all around as everyone cheered for and celebrated Luke and Josie on this brand new chapter as husband and wife! We met Josie at her parents house, where her and all the ladies were getting ready. We were greeted with hugs and good vibes immediately! It was so fun to see Josie transition into a bride throughout that morning as her mom helped her lace up her beautiful high neck gown and perfect those final little details. Their bond was something really sweet to see before the ceremony!

Luke was hanging with his groomsmen over at St. Norbert’s campus. Much like the ladies, the guys were so relaxed and happy for the day to come! Luke opened his letter from Josie, that was adorably folded like a little boat (“a love boat”)! That small gesture alone made Luke crack up and adore her even more than he already does. There ceremony went off without a hitch. It was personal and full of heart, much like their entire day. I love the story their photos tell throughout the ceremony, those little glances are everything.  After photos around Old St. Joe’s, Luke and Josie had the BEST idea in store!! A quick stop at Zesty’s Frozen Custard!! These two love to go here, and even made it more personal by calling ahead and asking if they could feature their favorite flavors as the “flavor of the day”! Luke’s was featured that day, and Josie’s was featured the day after! I think two days of your favorite ice cream flavors is one huge wedding day win.

Their reception was a blast and a half. The speeches made them laugh and served as a reminder to how loved they really are. The dance floor was completely full from the time the DJ opened up the floor, to the time we left (and we didn’t see it stopping anytime soon!!). Thank you endlessly for having us capture your big day. You are wonderful people with the biggest hearts, and we wish you the happiest days as husband and wife!
