I recently helped a dear friend move to San Francisco (you can read and see all about that here!) and made it my goal to take photos of a couple somewhere along the way. With the weather still chilly in Wisconsin and a few weeks until wedding season AND being surrounded by redwoods and ocean everywhere, it just had to happen. Mike and Nicole were willing and excited to meet at Sutro Baths in San Fancisco and I was so thankful! These two were so fun to get to know and hang with that day, I couldn’t have asked for two people who were more perfect for the job. Aside from all the gorgeous scenery of the shoot, the photos truly show how much they love each other, they show them taking care of one another, helping the other watch their step and holding hands the entire hour we got to spend together. Though I always give direction, I love when couples build on that and melt into their own thing too. It seemed so easy for them, they were so natural together and comfortable holding the other close.
They showed up with the cutest outfits, sweetest smiles, and a willingness to do a little hiking and dance on the edges of cliffs, and afterwards, we got to reward ourselves with a delicious meal to celebrate new friends and a shoot well done. Thank you over and over again, you two!
